MGC provides debt collection services and servicing of delinquent and defaulted loans on a nationwide basis. MGC directly contacts and negotiates with borrowers on delinquent accounts adhering to all relevant state and federal statutes. MGC ensures that all attempts to collect are fair and reasonable and do not involve harassment, intimidation, or false and misleading communications.

MGC practices early intervention and traces delinquent debtors to new addresses and phone numbers. For loans that already have a history of default, debtor intervention at the first sign of default is deemed critical and collection efforts begin within five days of a missed scheduled payment. In addition to letters, individual telephone collectors are assigned a group of accounts and spend their workday, every day, calling them. MGC confers with debtors to determine the reason for overdue payments, the borrower’s overall intentions and to secure a promise to pay. MGC considers each case individually by analyzing the financial situation and payment capabilities of the borrower.

MGC prides itself in exceptional high-quality borrower support. Its bi-lingual staff listens, analyzes and solves problems effectively and at a high level of borrower satisfaction, giving MGC an edge in a competitive business environment. MGC also subscribes to ATT language line to provide us with assistance translating calls in 140 additional languages.

Compliance with all federal and state laws regarding the collection of debt is of primary importance. MGC has specific expertise in federal and state consumer and creditor law and adheres to the application of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, The FACT Act, the Bankruptcy Code, the Code of Federal Regulations Freedom of Information Act, privacy act requirements, state and federal foreclosure and eviction laws, and unfair and deceptive trade practices laws.
